Vintage Cookbooks

The Vintage Read has recently acquired several (over 500!) vintage cookbooks from a local estate. All are in wonderful condition. For the vintage cookbook collector, it's a dream. A number of these cookbooks are the great community or church-organized spiral-bound books that are such a great resource for fantastic, stand-the-test-of-time recipes--such wonderful comfort foods passed down from generation to generation. Here's just a sampling of what is currently available with MANY more to come.

"Reaching back and tugging at old and almost forgotten memories--that's what Big Mama's Old Black Pot Recipes is all about. This cookbook is brimming with page after page of nostalgia and recipes for good old-fashioned, calorie-ladened, country-style cooking."
Wonderfully charming vintage cookbook from the Women of the Church (Circle #4 and Circle #5) of Strathmoor Presbyterian Church, Louisville Kentucky.
